Run like a Cacchione Cup Finals Class, the IHSA will choose 24 Open Level College riders mostly from the Metropolitan area who ride in IHSA Zone 1, 2, and 3. The class will have a 20-30 minute warmup followed by two rounds: the first round over fences at 0.85m with the top 12 coming back for a flat work off and judged by mutually chosen 5* riders competing at the Longines Masters of New York. The 10-20 horses provided by the IHSA will be used in a random draw format to be paired with riders. The course will be chosen and designed by the Longines Masters of New York to mimic one of our iconic classes and to be approved by the IHSA.
Note: Riders willing to travel may come from any Zone or Region at the discretion of the IHSA.
