The Longines Masters of Hong Kong isn’t only a forum for the equestrian champions of today but also the stars of tomorrow — the HKJC Master Classes for Hong Kong’s most promising young riders help pave a future for the sport.
 
It goes without saying that the skill, talent and showmanship of today’s equestrian champions are the result of years of hard work, dedication and sweat. And as well as providing the stage on which these riders can showcase their expertise, the Longines Masters of Hong Kong also helps to inspire the next generation of stars.
 
For the fourth consecutive year, the biggest names in equestrianism are giving the very best in coaching to selected members of the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s (HKJC) Junior Equestrian Training Squad (JETS) in the form of the HKJC Master Classes. With the world’s best riders united under one roof, the Longines Masters of Hong Kong presents the perfect occasion to encourage some of the city’s youngest show jumpers by demonstrating where their hard work can lead.
 
In 2015, Olympic gold medalist Ludger Beerbaum moonlighted as a coach to play his part in guaranteeing the continuation of the sport. You can find out which star has taken over the reins, and show your support for the top riders of the future, by watching the classes in action at the Longines Masters of Hong Kong 2016!

At the Longines Masters Series, the fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. Once the day’s sport has finished, the lights are dimmed, the cocktails mixed and the party continues long into the night.
 
The Longines Masters of Hong Kong offers spectators the opportunity to move seamlessly from a day of sporting prowess to an evening of glamour. And what’s a party without music? Special guests French DJ duo, Cassius, internationally renowned for their signature house, dance and synthpop sounds are in Hong Kong for the very first time exclusively to entertain audiences at the Longines Masters. The event’s regular DJ, Jeremy Charlier, is also on hand with a selection of songs guaranteed to keep you dancing all night long. Make sure those dancing shoes are ready!
 
With the music taken care of, award-winning mixologist Filippo Baldan is here working his magic to provide the perfect accompaniment to a party. If you’re keen to learn more from the king of cocktails, he is also teaching his tricks of the trade, which have seen him rated number four in the world, in his Master Class of Mixology.
